Cisco Call Mgr v5.1+

PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO SETUP THE DATA COLLECTION METHOD AND TRANSLATION METHOD BEFORE SETTING UP THE SMDR OUTPUT FROM THE CISCO SFTP SERVER

You will need to know the following:

  • The Username and Password of the Cisco controller from which you are collecting the SMDR data from
  • The model of your phone system

Use the following Data Collection method in Comms Suite Setup:

  • Collection Type = Cisco SFTP Server
  • Configure = Username and Password of the Cisco controller 

Use the following Translation method in Comms Suite Setup:

  • Manufacturer = Cisco
  • Device = CUCM
  • Translator = Cisco Call Manager 5.1 (XFER)

You will need to have the following setup:

  • The SMDR of the phone system should be enabled and pointed to the IP address of the PC / Server of where the call accounting software is installed on
  • The PC / Server needs to be on the same network as the telephone system
