You will need to know the following: - The IP Address of the phone system
- The SMDR port number of the phone system to connect to
- The model of your phone system
You will need to have the following setup: - The SMDR of the phone system should be enabled
- The port number to which you are connecting to should be added as an exception on your firewall
- The PC / Server needs to be on the same network as the telephone system
Use the following Data Collection method in Comms Suite Setup: - Collection Type = Telnet
- Configure = The IP address of the phone system and the SMDR port number
Use the following Translation method in Comms Suite Setup: - Manufacturer = Aastra
- Device = Intelligate
- Translator = Aastra Intelligate OIP
