File 221When you have performed a 'Search' and the system has returned all the 'Call Recordings' that match the 'Filter' criteria applied, the recordings are ready to be played back using the 'Oak Call Player'.
File 223To play a call recording listed in the 'Search' pane, simply click the loudspeaker icon.

The 'Oak Call Player' has up to four tabbed windows below the 'Waveform' window:

  • Now Playing - the current 'Call Recoding' being played
  • Notes - where you can annotate a 'Call Recording' or view 'Notes' already entered
  • Visualization - provides the ability to mask the'Call Recording' details
  • Audit - a record of how many times the 'Call Recording' has been played and by whom (only appears if the recording has been played more than once).

File 224The recording automatically starts playing as soon as the recording file has been downloaded.

The upper panel shows a graphical (waveform) representation of the call content. The bigger the peaks, the louder the speech (or MOH). The markers under the waveform mark the start, middle and end times of the recording.

The 'Tempo''Sample Rate' and 'Pitch' controls on the left of the panel enable you to 'speed' through a 'Call Recording' or to slow the replay down to improve the intelligibility of a portion of the recording.

File 225The middle pane shows the details of the call recording currently being played.
File 226You can set a 'Flag' on the recording by selecting from the drop-menu; invoked by clicking the down-arrow highlighted in the screen-shot.

File 227In the bottom left-hand corner of the pane is the 'Save' button. You have the option to save the recording in 'WAV' or 'MP3' format.
