Indicators


Indicators 
within display X are analogous to alarms, and are used to notify you if a particular pre-defined threshold has been exceeded within the system.

File 537From the 'Display X wallboard' go to to Tools > Configuration Manager. To 'Add' a new 'Indicator' to the system, click the 'Indicators' tab in the left-hand navigation pane to open the 'Indicators' window.

Right-click the mouse within the main pane to invoke a context-sensitive menu. Selecting the 'New' option opens a secondary menu from which the 'Indicator'option is selected.

File 538The 'Indicator Name' should be sufficiently descriptive to show the function of the alert.

The first drop-menu is used to set the 'Category' of the 'Indicator', invoked by clicking the down-arrow on the right of the field...

File 539... which can be one of three types:

  • Good - a positive indicator. 
  • Bad - a negative indication showing remedial action needs to be taken.
  • Indifferent - something that requires notification using an 'Indicator' which is for information only and doesn't fall into either of the other two categories.

File 540'Statistics Type' gives three options:

  • ACD - should be selected if the Wallboard is running with a full 'ACD' system (only available with Aastra).
  • aiOffice - select this if you want to setup an alarm around call statistics.
  • XML feed - not currently available.

The 'Grouping' options available to you will depend on whether you have selected 'ACD' (only available with Aastra) or 'aioffice'.

    • ACD Group - the 'ACD Group' to which the 'Indicator' is assigned is selected from the drop-menu.
    • Agent - allows you to assign the 'Indicator' to a particular 'Agent' on the system and it will only be applied to a single individual.

File 544... the 'Conditions' tab. Up to three different 'Statistics' can be combined within a single 'Indicator'.

The argument to be applied is set by clicking the desired button ('AND' or 'OR') which makes the button darken.

File 545After you have closed the 'Conditions' window, the settings are shown in the lower pane.
File 546The 'Advanced' tab enables you to configure the 'Normal' and 'Fired' color scheme for the 'Indicator'.
