Oak Wallboard is supplied with 'Example Feeds' (BBC News, etc.) which can be selected by clicking the down-arrow on the right of the field and selecting the feed from the drop-menu.

Note: The Boscombe Reef webcam feed is currently unavailable...

If you already have a specific 'Video Feed' they wish to use the 'URL' (the Internet address of the 'Video Feed') is entered into the 'Video URL' field. Alternatively you can browse to the location of a video clip you wish to display on the Wallboard.

The 'Volume' slider controls the sound level from the speakers. If the system has no external speakers we recommend the slider is left in the default position (zero volume).

The 'Loop Video' option is only relevant if you are playing a video clip (or excerpt) rather than watching a live video feed.

File 529You can control when the 'Video Panel' is shown on the Wallboard by using the 'Schedules' pane. To activate 'Schedules', tick the 'Only show...' check-box.

The 'On Time' and 'Off Time' are set using the time picker controls, then clicking the 'Add' button to enter the settings into the 'Schedule'.

In this example, the 'Video Panel' will only be shown between 06:00 to 08:55 and 17:30 to 22:00 daily, outside normal office hours.

File 530When you have finished configuring the settings and clicked 'OK', the 'Video Panel' will display the 'VCL' icon while the feed is being contacted.

As soon as a connection with the video feed has been established, the picture will be shown in the window.
