Configuring Display

File 477The 'Toolbar' is located across the top of the main 'Wallboard' pane (see screen-shot).

File 478The bar contains five buttons:

File 479The right-hand side of the Toolbar contains the 'Alignment' tools, which only becomes active if more than one 'Panel' is selected.

If the user changes the size or positioning of a single 'Panel', this can be applied to a number of others using the 'Alignment' tools.

The 'Panels' are selected by clicking on the middle icon (highlighted in the screen-shot) of the 'Panel Toolbar' to highlight all the elements that will share the same alignment.

The 'Alignment' options are:

  • Align Left
  • Align Right
  • Align Top
  • Align Bottom
  • Shrink Width To Smallest
  • Grow Width To Largest
  • Shrink Height To Smallest
  • Grow Height to Largest

File 480In this example, one of the 'Panels' has been re-sized and all the other panels in the row have been selected (highlighted).

Clicking the 'Shrink Height To Smallest' button...

File 481... re-sizes the other three 'Panels' to match the smallest.
File 482In some cases, a 'Video Panel' will have been configured with a 'Schedule' so it will only be displayed at certain times. Outside the 'Scheduled Times' the 'Panel' will be hidden and therefore inaccessible to the user. This 'Video Panel' can be shown on the 'Desktop' by clicking the 'Show Hidden Panels' button on the toolbar.
File 483The final 'Toolbar' button allows the user to select which particular 'Desktop' they wish to view from those available. Clicking the down-arrow button invokes a drop-menu showing the 'Desktops' available to the user.
