User Access

File 474To 'Add' a new user to the system, click the 'Users' tab in the left-hand navigation pane to open the 'System Users'window.

Right-click the mouse within the main pane to invoke a context-sensitive menu. Selecting the 'New' option opens a secondary menu from which the 'User' option is selected.

File 475We recommend a consistent naming convention is employed and therefore we suggest the 'Username' is set to the same as the domain (Active Directory) login and the domain 'Password'

If the 'User' already has an 'Agent ID' on the system this is selected from the 'Agent Id/Login' drop-menu.

The 'User Roles' defines the system hierarchy and access right for the new 'User'. To assign a 'Role' click the 'Add' button...

File 476... to open the 'Select Role' window.

The available options are: 

  • Administrator - master account with full access
  • ACD Wallboard - only applicable if the Wallboard is being used with a full ACD system
  • User - a 'standard' Wallboard user who has no administrative rights to the Wallboard system.

The 'Role' is selected by double-clicking the field in the window.
